Celebrity Wedding - Vince Neil
and Lia Gerardini "It's
Hammer time!" rang out
within the decorated function
room at the Four Seasons hotel
as pastor and eighties icon
M.C. Hammer walked his "Surreal
Life" co-star to the altar
before the arrival of the bride.
The Sin City service was witnessed
by the groom's Motley Crue cohorts
Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee, as
well as Dennis Rodman and former
Playboy Playmate and fellow
"Surreal Life" castmate
Brande Roderick.
Befitting a rock and roll bride,
Lia donned a tiara and a body-hugging,
champagne-colored full-length
gown accented with elaborate
beadwork and gold embroidery.
The criss-cross halter top emphasized
her decolletage, while the low
cut back displayed the bride's
bronzed complexion. A band of
golden fabric encircling her
hips further showcased Lia's
physique.
The groom, known for his outrageous
onstage antics, opted for a
traditional, dark pin-striped
suit with a rose boutonniere
which mirrored the bride's bouquet.
Bridesmaids, who carried small
nasegays composed of purple
flowers, were dressed in burgundy-colored
floor-length gowns in a variety
of styles, while the flower
girl wore a calf-length dress
with a ruffled hem and a halo
of scarlet blossoms in her hair.
The ring bearer was garbed in
a black suit paired with a lilac
shirt, dark purple tie and one
red rose to harmonize with the
flower girl's attire, while
groomsmen were decked out in
black suits with shirts of the
same hue, offset with bright
purple ties.
So why is it generally recognized
to be the worst celebrity wedding
of 2005? 1) Don't get $70,000
of plastic surgery before your
wedding, Vince. A man with "face-lift
eyes" is just not pretty.
2) When getting married, the
bride shouldn't show more of
her breasts than her doctor
would normally see. The combination
of Lia's revealing wedding dress
and her messy piled up hair
had her looking like a bad Pamela
Anderson impersonator. 3)If
you're going to let another
washed-up pop star officiate
your wedding, don't choose MC
Hammer, because he will shout
"It's Hammertime!"
as he walks down the aisle.
